Degrees Celsius (symbol: °C) is a temperature unit on the Celsius scale, where water freezes at 0° and boils at 100°. This scale is still used in all countries, except the United States, the Bahamas, the Cayman Islands, Liberia, Palau, the Federated States of Micronesia, and the Marshall Islands. In those nations, they use degrees Fahrenheit (°F).
